Originally from Long Island, New York, Aris received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio, where he served as Managing Editor for War Crimes Prosecution Watch through the Public International Law and Policy Group.

Aris has been practicing law since 2024 and joined the firm in 2026.
